Voting for triple j’s Hottest 100 opens on Tuesday next week giving a chance for their listeners to vote on the hottest songs of the year, culminating in the countdown in January.
This year triple j’s Hottest 100 will partner with Lifeline, the leading provider of crisis support and suicide prevention in Australia. Suicide is the biggest killer of young Australians, accounting for over one-third of all deaths among 15-24s in 2019.
Lifeline receives over a million calls, text messages and web chats every year, and that’s a call every 30 seconds and costs $39 to answer a call, the same price as a Hottest 100 x Lifeline t-shirt.
All proceeds from t-shirt purchases go to Lifeline.
