Over 120 South African radio stakeholders benefit from industry training

More than 120 South African radio stakeholders, including media owners and clients have participated in a radio industry media workshop, on unlocking opportunities for business.

The #RadioROIunlocked workshop was organized by Ultimate Media to discover how to get the best from their radio campaigns and better service their clients.

Ultimate Media said the participants had in-depth discussions on measurement, the power of language and innovation, as well as how to get the best out of the medium.

The organizer revealed that it brought together the panelists, media owners and clients as the synergy between them will determine the success of any campaign.

“It was a day of reconnecting and stimulating conversation around South Africa’s largest medium,” it said, adding that it is proud to be the independent and agnostic radio specialist who can bring these players together and positively impact the industry by doing so.

Simon Parkinson, director at Ultimate Media, and Ryan Till from Straight Str. Consulting, opened the workshop.

Apart from media owners, media agencies and clients who use radio, panelists who made an invaluable contribution to the workshop, included, Neo Mtshatsheni from M&C Saatchi Connect; Zaheera Mahomed from Primedia; Haveshan Naidoo from Betway; Melissa McNally from Kagiso Media; Erica Gunning from Planit Media, and Arabang Makaza from MTN.
