Barix release a new codec at NABShow 2023

Barix have added a new codec released especially for the 2023 NABShow.

The uncompressed streaming codec that can have the audio delay configured through and encoder/decoder chain.

For example this allows the operator to program a delay for a specific time, e.g. 6 seconds.

Added resilience allows the codec to adjust for up to 1 ½ seconds of packet loss.

Reto Brader talked to radioinfo’s Wayne Stamm about the new codec.
