A five-member delegation of the Association of Liberia Community Radio (ALICOR) and Internews Liberia have ended a four-day experience sharing visit to Accra, Ghana.
The team during the visit met with the Ghana Community Radio Network (GCRN) and participated in a three-day intensive lecture series on the operations, and a day of sightseeing.
In the spirit of partnership and networking, ALICOR and GCRN during the visit amongst other things also agreed to collaborate on several fronts including continuous knowledge exchange programs between both institutions, as well as to explore possibilities of partnering on grant applications and implementations of projects.
Both ALICOR and the GCRN will work towards replicating useful lessons and systems learned during their four days of interactive sessions.
The Liberian team was exposed to the internal and external operations of the GCRN by its lead trainer, Larwah Kofi and in return, the President of ALICOR, Hector Z. Mulbah presented on the structure, internal and external operations of ALICOR as well as an overview of the media in Liberia.

For his part, the President of GCRN, Selete Nyomi expressed delight and promised to have continuous engagements with ALICOR because, noting that his organization during the four days session learn a lot from their Liberia counterpart.
