Cyrus Kaba, a journalist working for Ablee-Jay Media in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County has resigned after years as a reporter and television program switcher. Ablee-Jay Media and Consultancy is the parent body of Ablee-Radio and Ablee-Jay TV in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
As a journalist working for both the radio and TV, Kaba, during his time of service reported news and broadcast programs, making him versatile in both radio and TV.
In his resignation letter posted on social media, he said his decision to leave the institution was for personal reasons.
“It is with heavy heart that I submit this resignation due to personal reasons that require my attention,” he wrote, adding, “I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunities and experiences I have had while working at Ablee-Jay Media & Consultancy Inc.”
He said his time at the institution was a moment he enjoyed, while also learning greatly from my colleagues and superiors, something he hopes will serve well for him in future endeavors.
“I have decided it is time for me to move on to my next challenge.”
Ablee-Jay radio and TV manager, Elton Tiah congratulated Kaba and wished him well in feature endeavors.
“Congratulations on your New hustle buddy!! We’re together! The growth of all of you makes me happy.”
However, his resignation also brought sorrows to some of his colleagues in the media, especially Darius Zoryea, a close teammate at Ablee-Jay radio and tv.
“My time in Ablee-Jay has been filled with laughter all because of you, seeing you going doesn’t make me happy,” said Zoryea, Kaba’s close teammate.
“As you have taken this critical decision, my wish for you is, for God to open another door for you. I know that we are still close friends, but I will miss the moment we spent working together. Whatever hustle you will embark on, may you get the best out of it.”
