Legendary radio and TV presenter Jeremy Mansfield shocked South Africans on Saturday, when he announced that his cancer had advanced to stage 4.
This comes after the former Talk 702, 94.7 Highveld Stereo and Hot 91.9fm presenter beat leukemia, 13 years ago.
Following the news, fans and colleagues have sent many heartfelt messages and well wishes.
In a heartbreaking post, Mansfield said his liver cancer and now terminal, adding that he will be undergoing palliative care.
“This dream team (as I now refer to them) will not guide me through how to have as much fun in the time I have left and fulfill as many dreams, big and small, I have on my bucket list. A new journey for Kari [his partner Karen Corbett] and the rest of our families starts today,” he explained.
This is after he revealed earlier this year that he was hospitalized for two months as he was not feeling healthy.
At the time, he was told he’s got some form of liver cancer and doctors discovered a growth on his spine which had to be removed in two painful spinal operations.
