Apple Music spotlights ODUMODUBLVCK on Rap Life Radio

Nigerian rap sensation ODUMODUBLVCK has been announced as the latest artist to be featured on Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio, hosted by the platform’s global editorial head of Hip-Hop and R&B, Ebro Darden.

The new episode, which also features Africa Now Radio host Nandi Madida, centers on ODUMODUBLVCK’s recently released album, INDUSTRY MACHINE.

This cover is bigger than me,” ODUMODUBLVCK told Apple Music. “It’s for Abuja, for Naija, for every young blood that believed in raw sound before the world tuned in.”

The rapper, known for his raw, energetic delivery and genre-blending style, continues to gain global recognition for pushing the boundaries of African hip hop. His latest project, INDUSTRY MACHINE, explores the dynamics of Nigeria’s music scene and celebrates resilience and teamwork.

When I say the machine, I’m talking about a system built on three things: diligence, versatility, and togetherness,” ODUMODUBLVCK explained. “My journey is bigger than me — it’s my team, my city, and my fans moving as one. That’s the energy I bring to this industry.”

Alongside ODUMODUBLVCK, this week’s Rap Life Radio episode also highlights South African producer Kay Faith, who recently dropped her new single Online, featuring Kenji TMZ, Creed Oasis, and Bhutlegend. The track, which fuses gqom, hip hop, and kwaito, showcases Kay Faith’s continued innovation within South Africa’s urban music landscape.

The show also features Please Don’t Kill My Vibe, the latest single from Brotherkupa, featuring Blxckie and K1llbrady, a cross-border collaboration underscoring the growing unity and energy shaping African hip hop today

Born in Abuja, ODUMODUBLVCK first rose to fame in 2023 with his viral hit Declan Rice, a genre-bending anthem that introduced his self-styled “Okporoko Rhythms” — a fusion of drill, grime, Afrobeat, and R&B. His latest recognition by Apple Music signals another milestone in his fast-rising career and in the global recognition of Nigerian rap.
