South Africa’s Gagasi FM has renewed its partnership with the Hollywood Foundation for the third edition of the Gagasi FM Christmas Miracle, an annual community outreach initiative aimed at spreading festive cheer and supporting vulnerable children in KwaZulu-Natal.
The 2025 event, held on Monday, December 15, marked the continuation of a collaboration that began in 2023 and has steadily grown through a shared commitment to social upliftment and inclusive community development.
This year’s Christmas Miracle focused on children along the South Coast, with particular attention given to underprivileged children and those living with disabilities. The Hollywood Foundation provided extensive support, donating toys, food parcels, goodie bags, wheelchairs and hearing aids to ensure that every child could fully participate in the celebration
The day-long event delivered a festive and memorable experience, featuring activities such as face painting, jumping castles, candy floss and a hot meal. Entertainment was enhanced by a live performance from Bello & Gallo, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Speaking on the partnership, Pinky Myeni, Head of Commercial Hub at Gagasi FM, said the collaboration is rooted in shared values and a passion for giving back to communities.
“The Christmas Miracle has become a cherished tradition, and together we remain committed to ensuring that every child, especially those often overlooked, feels seen, valued and celebrated,” Myeni said.
The Hollywood Foundation also reaffirmed its dedication to impactful community outreach. Vuyisile Ngobese, Public Relations Officer at the Foundation, said the initiative aligns with its broader mission to uplift children across KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.
“Through our partnership with Gagasi FM’s Christmas Miracle 2025 CSI program, we are honored to have touched the lives of children along the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Creating lasting memories for children during the festive season and beyond remains a priority for us,” Ngobese said.
Organizers said the third annual Gagasi FM Christmas Miracle reflects a continued drive to create positive change by offering a safe, inclusive and joy-filled environment where children can experience the simple magic of being celebrated during the festive season.
