Radio Nation in Kenya has deployed an AEQ’s digital audio technology, Forum Split digital console, in its main broadcast studio.
The privately owned station was founded in 2002 as part of the Nation Media Group and was known as Easy FM until 2019.
AEQ revealed in a press release that the station decided during the last renovation to select AEQ FORUM SPLIT as the digital console for its main broadcast studio, due to its ease of use, robust operation, and high audio quality.
“The station has nationwide coverage, with central studios in the country’s capital Nairobi and repeaters in the nation’s main cities,” AEQ said in a press release.
“Radio Nation has a varied program of news, sports and music, always in English, broadcasting on 96.3 FM for the central core of Kenya, and it is also possible to follow the broadcasts from their comprehensive website.”
The Forum IP Split comes with an FR Core modular engine that mounts in a rack. It can be composed of up to six quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.
“It incorporates all the basic features necessary, including automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercom, etc.”
