Jacaranda FM has announced that Lucky Du Plessis on its lineup to host Weekends with Lucky every Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 10:00. These shows will focus on uplifting music and feel-good stories for a laugh or two, bringing listeners even closer to the station’s promise of ‘More Music You Love.’

Du Plessis’s vibrant energy and storytelling have made him a household name in South African media. The station revealed that now, for the first time, he steps onto the commercial radio stage with Jacaranda FM, ready to connect with the station’s diverse audience.

“As an art director, I learned to connect with emotions. I crafted my storytelling skills through stand-up comedy, which taught me how to turn life’s toughest moments into laughter. When I finally stepped into radio, it became the perfect space to bring all these elements together,” Du Plessis reveals.
