OK FM 99.5 resumes test transmission after damages by lightning strike

OK FM 99.5, a popular radio station in Monrovia, has resumed transmission, for test broadcast, following weeks on being off the air following a lightning strike that damaged several of its equipment.

Following the strike, the station’s management promptly apologized for the inconvenience and assured listeners that technicians are working diligently to resolve the issue.

We would like to assure the public that our technicians are working to resolve the problem,” the management stated. “We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

During the downtime, listeners were encouraged to stay updated through the station’s active Facebook page.
