Matt Fisher, whose radio imaging credits include BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2, has launched Hundred Hand Slap, a production music and sound design library for radio imaging teams, station producers and audio creatives. Access is free, with music reported through standard PRS and MCPS channels.
The library includes talkover beds, competition drones, imaging effects packages, sound design and production music. A search engine filters content by mood, genre, station format, instrumentation and era.
Fisher has more than 20 years of experience in station sound, sonic branding and audio imaging, working with the BBC and broadcasters worldwide. Since launch five months ago, Hundred Hand Slap has released more than 40 albums, with new content added weekly and hundreds of further albums in production.
Fisher said: “Producers have never been asked to create more content. I wanted to build a place where great sounding audio is easy to find, quick to use and built entirely with radio in mind.”
