East Coast Radio has been nominated for 15 awards in the 2022 Radio Awards categories. The station has been nominated for the Station of the Year accolade.
The awards say that this is the 12th year that it will honor exceptional and innovative excellence in South Africa’s radio industry.
The recognition speaks to the station’s commitment to providing its diverse audience with the best hit music, local news and on-air talent, says the team at East Coast Radio.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Saturday, 26 November in Parktown, Johannesburg.
Boni Mchunu, East Coast Radio’s managing director said he’s very proud of his team and the effort to stay innovative and produce excellent work.
“As East Coast Radio, we are thrilled to see talent, shows and ideas being recognized by the industry. We promise to continue to provide KwaZulu-Natal with an outstanding listening experience. My team and I are cautiously optimistic and hoping for a positive outcome,” Mchunu said.
