Tulz Madala has made his radio comeback, joining Ayanda MVP in drive-time slot The Home Run on YFM.

This follows a hit stint on Big Brother Mzansi, during which fans called for radio stations to hire him.

Tulz returns to YFM after nearly six years.

In 2015 the media personality won a TV competition which saw him become a host at the youth station alongside Ayanda MVP. He later joined 5FM.

On his return, Madala said he feels like he’s home, noting that YFM is in his blood.

“I’m blessed to be back on the microphone at YFM,” he said.

“I’ve worked so much with Ayanda and so much that I know in radio is off of her, she taught me a lot … so as much as I was doing radio, I always prayed and hoped that this would happen. So, it’s so perfect that it’s happening at a prime-time slot. It feels full circle, I’ve always hoped for it and God has blessed me with that.”

On what listeners could expect from him, Tulz said they would be able to tell how much he’d grown over the years.

“I’ll be bringing a different side because who I was then is not who I am now. It’s been almost five to six years and I imagine the listeners are not the same either. So, it won’t be the same thing, but it will still be me,” he assured.

According to him, his journey in the entertainment industry has been real, despite being filled with a lot of ups and downs.

“But… what is meant for you will never be taken away.”
