The win in one of the ceremony’s most competitive categories marks a defining moment for the station, reflecting its steady growth and delivery of consistently impactful, high-quality programming.
The award underscores Hot 102.7FM’s expanding footprint in the market and its commitment to serving listeners with compelling music, trusted news content, and strong entertainment value.

Meanwhile, an emotional highlight of the evening came with a posthumous award for Darren Scott, who was named Afternoon Drive Presenter of the Year, honoring his lasting legacy and impact on the industry.
