Kajim announces departure from Radio Africa Group, shifts focus to Kajim Events Ltd

Media personality Kajim has officially announced his exit from Radio Africa Group, marking the end of a career chapter that began when he joined the company at just 22 years old.

Kajim expressed gratitude to CEO Patrick Quarcoo for giving him his first major opportunity as one of the youngest co-hosts on a breakfast show. He also paid tribute to industry mentor Bishop Ben, crediting him for introducing him to radio and guiding his early steps in the media world.

His journey has included roles at Kameme FM, Inooro TV’s Centro Comedy, and Gukena FM, where he co-hosted the Drive and Breakfast shows, including with broadcaster Njoki wa Mburu, whom he described as a mentor and key influence.

Kajim also thanked his wife Wambui, his mentors including Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, Elder Steve, Pst. Hillary Wisdom, and his spiritual father Rev. Victor G. Ng’ang’a for their support.

Alongside his radio career, Kajim launched the Kajim Talent Hub, which later gave rise to Kajim Events Ltd, a full-service events and production company he says is “thriving by God’s grace.”

Announcing his next steps, Kajim said it is “time to go to the next level,” noting he will now focus fully on leading Kajim Events Ltd while continuing to create digital content and new episodes of his 1on1 with Kajim Podcast.

He thanked his fans and listeners for their unwavering support, saying, “You’re more than fans — you’re family.”
