OFM marks 40th anniversary with ‘YellO Fleet’ roadshow across Central South Africa

South African commercial radio station OFM is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a region-wide promotional campaign featuring a fleet of branded yellow vehicles travelling across Central South Africa

Dubbed the “YellO Fleet” roadshow, the initiative forms part of the station’s milestone celebrations and offers listeners the opportunity to win a grand cash prize of R40,000.

According to the station, participation is simple. Listeners who spot the OFM YellO Fleet at official outside broadcasts can take a selfie with one of the branded vehicles and follow the entry instructions provided on site to secure a place in the prize draw.

In addition to the grand prize, OFM will also award a R1,000 (US$ 61.19) spot prize and a limited-edition 40-year collector’s hamper to one listener at each outside broadcast event.

The promotional tour will visit several cities and towns across the station’s broadcast footprint, including Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Bethlehem, Vanderbijlpark, Kathu, Upington, Klerksdorp, and Potchefstroom throughout March. Event venues and broadcast times will be announced on air and through the station’s digital platforms.

Anchen Lintvelt, Sales and Marketing Manager at OFM, said the roadshow is designed to bring the anniversary celebrations directly to listeners across the region

The OFM YellO Fleet roadshow promises to create excitement across Central South Africa. It is such a fun way to give away the grand prize of R40,000 to one lucky participant. When you spot us, make sure you get your selfie and be part of this journey with the OFM team,” she said.

The campaign highlights the station’s long-standing connection with communities across Central South Africa while celebrating four decades of broadcasting and audience engagement.
