Smile FM announces new lineup of on-air and management teams

Smile FM, a leading community radio station in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, has announced a series of new appointments across its management structure. The decision was made by Station Manager Anthony Teeneo Flahn, in consultation with the station’s Board of Advisors, in line with Article VII, Section 1.6.1 of the station’s bylaws and constitution.

The appointments affect the Program, News, Technical, Financial, and Sports Departments.

In the Program Department, Samukai Keita takes over as Program Director, assisted by Deputy Program Director Janet D. Warner. Other key positions include Romeo Dugbeh as Studio Director, Humphrey Z. Dweh as Chief Broadcaster, and Emmanuel Gorwo and Dave Neoh as Announcers/Reporters. The department also includes Morice Z. Morris as Duty Announcer, while Alfred Dorbor and Gaye S. Siah will serve as Krahn Announcers.

The Financial Department will now be led by Alphonso G. Geah as Finance and Administrator, supported by Cashier Esther N. Scott. Additional staff include Pauline Q. Chear as Cleaner/Janitor, with Saturday Tobort and Monah Jarh serving as Security officers.

At the News Department, Parker Wonneyplyon has been named News Director, working alongside News Editor Victor Fame Gowah and Senior Reporter Honest Saydee.

The Sports Department will be headed by Cardinal Glahn, while the Technical Department will be led by Timothy Wilson as Chief Technician, with Cyrus Gbaway as Deputy Technician.

Manager Flahn expressed confidence in the new team’s qualifications, integrity, and experience, stressing that their commitment will be vital to Smile FM’s ongoing reforms and service to the Zwedru community.

He urged all appointees to uphold diligence, professionalism, and loyalty as they work to strengthen the station’s role as a voice for the people of Grand Gedeh County.
