Good Hope FM has announced the onboarding of two brand-new additions to the team. The talented and dynamic Carl Lewis and Fauzia Bull have joined the station’s line-up with Lewis’ debut on Saturday, October 8.

The station said Bull, who grew up in Mitchell’s Plain and moved to the southern suburbs, completed her tertiary education in BA drama and theatre studies at Stellenbosch University.

Bull started her radio career at the campus station, MFM, in 2018.

The station said Bull has proven herself to be a hugely popular talent and now hosts The Sunday Fix — the best music to end your weekend off the right way and to dance your way into your new week — every Sunday from 22:00 to 01:00.

Lewis is a seasoned, award-winning sports reporter and podcast host with sporting knowledge that even Google struggles to top, says the station. He brings years of experience and a passion for all things sport and reality TV to the airwaves and will be joining Saturday Breakfast with Maka.

Individuals can tune in every Saturday from 06:00 to 09:00 as he brings listeners up to speed with all the local and international news in the world of sports.

Good Hope FM’s program manager Gerard Muller added, “We are excited to welcome Bull and Lewis to the team. They are a perfect fit for us as a Cape Town original that consistently features as one of the Mother City’s favorites.”

Bull has also already shifted in behind the mic at Good Hope FM as Lewis joined the team on Saturday.
